OUR VISION
To welcome and serve people of all ages and backgrounds in the name of Jesus.
OUR MISSION
WORSHIP The Church exists to increase awareness of God’s presence and to celebrate God’s love.
All our activities will be grounded in worship of the Living God.
Worship Leaders will continue to lead Sunday services when required, encouraging and engaging other members of the congregation to take part.
We will continue to offer a monthly mid-week Holy Communion service.
We will continue to learn and use new hymns and worship songs.
We will continue to invite outside speakers/preachers to enhance our worship experience.
EVANGELISM The Church exists to make more followers of Jesus Christ.
We will offer a companionship service to the elderly and lonely and share the Good News of Jesus with them.
We will continue to witness to the community.
We will continue to review how we advertise and promote our faith and church.
We will continue to produce and distribute personal invitations to events and services.
We will continue to learn ways of telling our faith story.
SERVICE The Church exists to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice.
We will continue our annual Christian Aid Week collections.
We will continue to attend the annual ‘Hunger Lunch’ event held at St. Charles Church, raising funds for CAFOD.
We will continue to support Fulwood Court.
We will continue to promote Fair-trade goods.
We will continue to hold our weekly Knit n Natter group.
We will continue to make donations to local, national and overseas groups that challenge and fight injustice and that help to further God’s kingdom.
LEARNING AND CARING The Church exists to help people to grow and learn as Christians, through mutual support and care.
We will continue to hold our fortnightly ecumenical Bible study group.
We will continue to hold our weekly Zoom Prayer Meeting for our members and others.
We will continue to hold our weekly Lent and Advent Bible Study groups.
We will continue to offer a listening ear and prayer ministry to all in need
